It is often asked in computing, "Do you have a website?", well I do now.
My real aim here is to complement my paper CV
in a professional manner. The intention is to provide examples
of my work and to allow people to gain an insight into my work experience.
I started my career as a software developer and have over the
years gained extensive technical skills, especially in Microsoft
tools and architecture, working in the Petrochemical and Financial
sectors.
Myself and Simon Thorneycroft have launched a community site around WinFX technologies ('Avalon', 'Indigo' & Workflow) called the 'Road To WinFX'.
The 2nd DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper Day community event was a great success. This time I spoke on the "CLR, Garbage Collection and Design Patterns in the .NET Framework", having enjoyed giving a session on "Refactoring - Improving the design of existing code" at the first one.
Read my Codeproject articles on generating thumbnails from PDF documents using .NET,
using a Wiki for knowledge sharing and SQL Server database documentation and Squarified Treemaps in XAML & C# using Microsoft Longhorn.
